Certified Organic Grass Fed Beef

Individual cuts of beef, pork sausage, chicken and eggs are available year round at our Farm Store, Farmer’s Markets and Retail Outlets. This is a good way to sample and test our products before you do a "bulk" purchase.

We take orders for whole, half, and quarter beef beginning in March for pick up from September through November. If you are a new customer and want to be on the mailing list, please email your contact information to eiko@skagitriverranch.com so we can mail you our newsletter and order form. Orders for beef require a $200 deposit. Please order early to be assured your choice of pick up dates.

Our pricing is based on “hanging weight” prior to butchering. The beef is hung for two weeks to age for flavor and tenderness, then cut and wrapped according to customer’s specifications. All processing is done in a USDA certified cut/wrap facility. The price is all inclusive - no hidden costs for butcher fees, etc.

The weights of our cattle will vary according to the weather and grass growth, so it is realistic to expect a 50 pound +/- variability. The table below shows average hanging weights and cuts for whole and half beef. This information will give you an approximate idea of costs.

Feel free to customize your cuts.  When you place an order you will receive cutting instructions and an explanation of options.  We will gladly go over any questions you may have.

We also offer bulk “Family Pack” for  $300 and “Hamburger Only” for $220.  They are available from September 1 - December 15 so you can stock up for the fall.

Pork

We do not take orders for half or whole pig.  Instead, we have the following family pack available.  You can call to place an order & pick it up at farmers markets or at our store.
